Innovative/Creative solutions: Collaborating for results

He is able to engage pupils' learning through the use of IT and blogs. He is very innovative in his teaching strategies of Chinese Language to his pupils and he does it with conviction and commitment. He also shares his best practices with his colleagues during department meetings. All staffs, pupils and stakeholders benefited from his commitment and dedication.

Fostering Community: Making Rulang a great place to work

She is very energetic and enthusiastic in the staff well-being programme. In the midst of her schedule, she took it upon herself to clean, mop and create a clean and healthy environment for her colleagues to work in. Her focus on staff well-being not only on the environment but also her active participation during Time-table time meetings and her sharing which helps to improve teachers’ professional development.

She led her team with commitment and dedication. Her quiet demeanor as she carries out her duties is an inspiration to the staff. She takes initiative to solve problems and improve work situations without being prompted. Her care and concern for the welfare of her pupils is also inspiring. Her gentle and sweet disposition is a good role model to her pupils and staff. She consistently goes above and beyond without fanfare.

Creating Connections: Serving our communities

She is able to incorporate the ideals and interests of Rulang in the community that she serves. Over the years, her links with external agencies such as non-profit organizations to raise funds for the needy and always having the welfare of the pupils in mind have been a constant source of inspiration for staff . She is always the gentle voice to remind to the pupils and the teachers of the things they have to do. She also sends encouraging messages to teachers to spur them on in times of difficulties. She is the pillar of strength in Rulang.
